Jameel McKay on Vine-worthy dance: 'It was big time'
Mar. 17, 2016 9:27 pm
DENVER — Iowa State was out and running to a double digit lead when senior Abdel Nader finished a left-handed layup with just five minutes to play.
That's when the television cameras found senior Jameel McKay's reaction on the bench.
McKay was caught flexing with both arms before he put his left arm into the arm and started to shake his hips.
'It's like a little cha-cha dance and you put the left hand up,' McKay said after the game. '(Nader) finished with his left hand so I put my hand up and I did the little Rihanna 'work work work work work.' Naz (Mitrou-Long) be coming up with that kind of stuff and I just be doing it. It was big time.
