Jul. 31, 2010 2:32 pm
The NASCAR Nationwide Series U.S. Cellular 250 has been well received in its short history at Iowa Speedway in Newton. The race track's Vice President for Promotions and Communications Craig Armstrong informed media before qualifying that the race sold every seat in the house, including temporary seating for set up for Saturday's event.
“That's a pretty neat deal,” Armstrong announced to the media. “It's the second year in a row.”
Including standing-room only admission, more than 55,000 fans are attending the race.
