IOWA CITY - Fox will televise the annual Iowa-Iowa State football game at 3:30 p.m. Sept. 12, the Big 12 and Iowa State announced Monday.
The game is held at Jack Trice Stadium and falls under the Big 12's television contract. Fox is slated to air at least two Big 12 games this fall. Two years ago, Fox Sports 1 televised the Cy-Hawk Showdown beginning at 5 p.m.
Iowa State has won three of the last four games against Iowa, although the Hawkeyes beat the Cyclones in Ames two years ago.
Iowa now has game times set for five games this fall. Home games against Pittsburgh (Sept. 19) and Minnesota (Nov. 14) are slated for 7 p.m. Iowa's homecoming game against Illinois (Oct. 10) and the Oct. 17 game at Northwestern are set for 11 a.m. kickoffs.
