Iowa's (so far) undefeated run to the Big Ten title game will be featured in Sports Illustrated this week, with tight end George Kittle appearing on a regional cover.
The story, according to SI, will, "take a look at the college football programs that, while in the national championship calculus, are generally not take seriously as title considers, specifically Iowa, Florida and Michigan State. All three programs essentially control their own destiny."

This week's Hawkeye cover will be available in Missouri, Indiana, Michigan, Illinois, Wisconsin, Iowa, Nebraska, South Dakota, North Dakota and Minnesota.
Iowa has appeared on the cover thrice prior, the last coming in 2009. This is where the cynic/curse-believer points out the previously 9-0 Hawkeyes lost their next two games after Derrell Johnson-Koulianos showed up on newsstands six years ago.
@SInow please leave the Hawkeyes off the cover. We don't want it. #SICURSE.
