Fourth-year junior forward Riley Mulvey of Iowa is entering the NCAA transfer portal as a graduate student.
The 6-foot-11 Mulvey from Rotterdam, N.Y., made the announcement Tuesday morning. He is Iowa’s fourth player to enter the portal in the last four days, following Owen Freeman, Brock Harding and Pryce Sandfort.
Mulvey played for the Hawkeyes in the 2021-22 and 2022-23 seasons, redshirted the following season, and played in 19 games with two starts this season.
Mulvey played in 19 games, averaging 2.2 points and 1.9 rebounds. He played a career-high 15 minutes in Iowa’s 85-79 win over Washington on Feb. 22, scoring nine points.
As a freshman, Mulvey played in Iowa’s 75-66 Big Ten tournament championship-game win over Purdue.
