The Indy 500 winner not only won the race, but also vaulted to the lead in the Indy Car season point standings. He also became the first American to win since 2006.

Came within a sliver, and a daring inside pass, of making history by winning his fourth Indianapolis 500 on Sunday. Really wants to win a points title and is inching closer

Finished eighth at the 500, but it should have been better. Pit road speeding penalty wiped out a possible top-five finish. Very un-Penske like mistake.

Finished a very strong third at the 500, and had the best car on long-runs. Unfortunately for him, it was a ten lap sprint to the bricks. Driving the best of his career right now.

Had an OK finish of 12th at the Indy 500, but after a top-nine qualifying position it was a little bit of a disappointment that he didn't even contend on Sunday. Still fourth in the points though.

Strange day for The Iceman at Indy. Looked good early, then had an uncharacteristic crash and tumbled to 29th. This is the point a year ago where he went on a tear to capture the championship.

Caught a horrible break during the red flag on Sunday, when his car wouldn't restart and he lost two laps and finished 22nd, which ruined a top-10 run. Gets better and better each race.

Juan Pablo Montoya
After a slow start he is starting to get the feel of the open wheel cars again. He also had a speeding penalty at Indy and still finished fifth. Not a stretch to say he could have won the 500 if not for the penalty.

The quiet kid in the Andretti Autosport stable is making a name for himself. Has now finished 2nd and 4th in his first two 500's and is seventh in the Indy Car point standings.

The former multi-time CART champion is having a very good year. A very solid seventh place finish in the 500 has put him eight in the standings going to Detroit this weekend.
