The Iowa running back blew by the entire Cyclone defense on a 43-yard touchdown run.

Linebacker Ben Niemann's interceptions set this one up.

3:18 3rd: Iowa 35, Iowa State 3

Containing Akrum Wadley: Not an easy task.

After ripping an 18-yard run with a juke and spin move, he pulled off the stop-and-go for a 3-yard TD run and the first score of the second half.

C.J. Beathard hit Matt VandeBerg twice more on this drive; they've now combined seven times for 129 yards.

ISU, meanwhile, has now allowed 30-plus points in 11 straight road games, per BTN.

2:17 2nd: Iowa 28, Iowa State 3

C.J. Beathard's fourth TD of the night, this time on the ground as he plunges in from a yard out.

Jhaustin Thomas looked to have sacked Beathard on 3rd down, but was whistled for a facemask, giving Iowa an automatic first down.

10:15 2nd: Iowa 21, Iowa State 3

They call him Meerkat. Meerkats probably can't make catches like that. 

C.J. Beathard's third touchdown pass of the day is a beauty to Matt VandeBerg, a 12-yard strike to put the Hawkeyes up three scores.

Iowa converted a 4th-and-2 from the ISU 33 when Beathard hit VandeBerg on a slant pattern.

5:42 1st: Iowa 14, Iowa State 0

The Hawkeyes go play-action and burn the ISU defense.

Akrum Wadley wheels out of the backfield and is wide open for a 26-yard TD pass from Beathard.

8:42 1st: Iowa 7, Iowa State 0

Tight end George Kittle's first catch of the season puts the Hawkeyes up 7-0, a 9-yard pass from C.J. Beathard.

Iowa punted at ISU's 42 on its first drive but got the ball right back ... at the ISU 42.

A Beathard pass to Matt VandeBerg put the Hawkeyes at the 5, but a false start on 2nd down backed them up to the 10. After a 1-yard Beathard run, he hit Kittle in the corner for the score.
