However, the Mustangs dominated the game from that point on with Trenton Baty scoring the first seven points and 11 of the teams first 12. Baty continued to shine, helping his team to a 22-3 lead at the end of the first quarter. The Mustangs continued their dominance even with Baty out in the second quarter. At half, the Mustangs were up 39-14.Coming out of half, the Mustangs brought the intensity once again, extending their 25-point halftime lead to 35. The Mustangs finished the game with their reserves getting a little playing time and won, 65-31.The Mustangs had two players with double-doubles - Baty with 25 points and 11 rebounds and Jeremy Krogmann with 13 points and 11 rebounds."I just kept shooting because I was making them," Baty said. "It felt like everything was going in. I got the green light to shoot a 3-pointer, but I didn't have time to."Freshman coach Matt Huber said the Mustangs followed the game plan.“Their effort was great ..." he said. "We got it in the post like we knew we had to.”He thought there was plenty to work on, however.“We still had way too many turnovers, we definitely need to work on ball handling," he said. "Overall, I was pleased with the game though."
