In the latest round of 'name your kickoff time,” the Hawkeyes clocked in with a pair of 11 a.m. starts.
The Hawkeyes will play host to Illinois 11 a.m. Oct. 10 at Kinnick Stadium. It will be Iowa's homecoming. Conversely, Iowa is Northwestern's homecoming game. That will kick off 11 a.m. Oct. 17 at Ryan Field in Evanston, Ill.
The Illinois game will be televised on BTN, ABC, or an ESPN network (ESPN, ESPN2, or ESPNU). Iowa is 56-42-5 on homecoming, including 5-5-2 against Illinois. Iowa defeated Indiana, 45-29, in its 2014 homecoming game.
The game at Northwestern also will be televised on BTN, ABC, or an ESPN network.
Iowa already has been given two night games at Kinnick Stadium for the 2015 season. The Sept. 19 game against Pittsburgh and Nov. 14 against Minnesota will be on primetime on the Big Ten Network with kickoffs scheduled for 7 p.m.
Start times and television information for Iowa's remaining games have not yet been released. The Big Ten Conference is expected to announce start times for the first three weeks of the season in the near future.
The Hawkeyes open the season Sept. 5, against Illinois State in Kinnick Stadium. Iowa then travels to Iowa State (Sept. 12), before hosting Pittsburgh (Sept. 19) and North Texas (Sept. 26).
