Iowa football team to play Maryland on a Friday

A change in Iowa’s football schedule was made Wednesday when the Big Ten Conference announced the Iowa-Maryland game has been moved from Saturday, Oct. 2 to Friday, Oct. 1.
The starting time and television network will be announced at a later time.
This will be Iowa’s second Friday night Big Ten game. The first was last year when the Hawkeyes won at Minnesota.
Iowa has played at Maryland just once, a 38-31 loss in 2014. The Hawkeyes are 2-1 overall against the Terrapins.
