Girls track: Individuals to watch

 Individuals to watch in girls track and field this season, with last year's results at the state meet:

JASMINE BLUE, soph., Cedar Rapids Jefferson -- Class 4A champion in 800 relay, 3rd in sprint medley relay and 1,600 relay.

TAYLOR BURKE, jr., North Linn -- Class 1A champion in distance medley relay and 1,600 relay, 2nd in 3,200 relay.

EMMA COCHRANE, jr., Mount Vernon -- Class 2A 3,200 relay champion, 2nd in distance medley relay, 6th in sprint medley relay.

HOLLY HUNT, sr., Cascade -- Class 2A champion in 800 relay, 2nd in 1,600 relay, 4th in 400 relay, 5th in distance medley relay.

STEPHANIE JENKS, soph., Linn-Mar -- Class 4A champion in 1,500 and 3,000. 2nd in 800.

OLIVIA LOY, sr., Anamosa -- Class 3A champion in 200, 400 and sprint medley relay. 4th in 100.

ABBEY MEYER, sr., Cascade -- Class 2A champion in 800 relay and sprint medley relay. 2nd in 1,600 relay, 5th in distance medley relay.

NICOLE MILLER, jr., North Linn -- Class 1A champion in distance medley relay and 1,600 relay, 2nd in 800 and 3,200 relay.

SARAH PLOCK, jr., Iowa City High -- 3rd in Class 4A 400 hurdles, 5th in 400, 8th in sprint medley and 400 relays.

SYDNEY RICKELS, jr., Cascade -- Class 2A champion in 800 relay and sprint medley relay, 4th in 400 relay.

LUCY SCHNEEKLOTH, jr., Cedar Rapids Jefferson -- Class 4A champion in 800 relay, 2nd in 400 relay, 3rd in 1,600 relay, 4th in 200.

JASMINE STAEBLER, jr., Clayton Ridge -- Class 2A champion in 200, 400 and 800, 4th in sprint medley relay.
