CEDAR RAPIDS -- Erin Kuba is fighting cancer. For herself, and for other patients.A 15-year-old sophomore at Cedar Rapids Jefferson, Kuba is organizing a concert Saturday at Bloomsbury Farm, near Atkins.Kuba is the starting third baseman for the Jefferson softball team that placed fifth at the Class 5A state tournament in July. She was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in the summer of 2012, then it redeveloped this past summer.Here's more on
