CEDAR RAPIDS -- Kirkwood got a double-double from Eddie Denard Wednesday night and defeated John Wood Community College, 73-55, in a non-conference men's basketball game at Johnson Hall.
Denard recorded 12 points and 11 rebounds. Mike Weber led the Eagles (10-2) in scoring with 19 points. Matt Tibby grabbed 10 rebounds.
The Eagles led 33-21 at halftime.
