Dominant defense powers Solon over CPU

SOLON – There is something to be said about staying true to yourself.
And, when the foundation of four straight state championships was set in defense and special teams, those would surely come in to play when the Solon Spartans opened the postseason.
“Those are the two things that we always hung our hat here at Solon,” Solon coach Kevin Miller said. “That has allowed us to be highly successful. We don't abandon the things that made us who we are.”
