The NASCAR Nationwide Series Dash 4 Cash began Saturday at New Hampshire Motor Speedway with the running of the F.W. Webb 200.
The program consists of four consecutive races where four Nationwide Series drivers compete for a total purse of $400,000. The highest finisher of the four competing drivers earns $100,000 and qualifies for the next event, which is the STP 300 at Chicago Speedway next week. The contest continues at Indianapolis Motor Speedway on July 28 and concludes Aug. 4 at Iowa Speedway.
The four drivers in the opening leg were defending series points champion Ricky Stenhouse Jr., Elliott Sadler, who entered Saturday's race as the points leader, Austin Dillon and Iowa native Michael Annett.
Dillon took home the first check, placing third behind winner Brad Keselowski and Kevin Harvick.
If Dillon continues to win the challenge, finishing ahead of the other three Dash 4 Cash drivers at Chicago and Indianapolis, he could be going for a total purse of $1,000,000 when he races in the U.S. Cellular 250 at Iowa Speedway.
