Cyclones sell nearly 2,000 tickets so far for Insight Bowl

Iowa State says it's already sold nearly 2,000 tickets to the Insight Bowl.

The Cyclones will face Minnesota in the Tempe, Ariz.-based bowl game on Dec. 31.

It's Iowa State's first bowl game since 2005, and fans scooped up nearly 2,000 tickets in the first 24 hours after they went on sale.

Athletic director Jamie Pollard says Cyclones fans have also leased five suites at Sun Devil Stadium.

Tickets to the game are $55.
