The Denver Nuggets are signing rookie guard Curtis Jones of Iowa State to an NBA two-way contract after Jones had a strong performance in the NBA Summer League according to ESPN’s Shams Charania.
Signed as an undrafted free agent by Denver, Jones then averaged 14.6 points over five games in Las Vegas, along with 4.4 rebounds and 3.8 assists. He made 14 of 30 3-pointers for 46.8 percent, and shot 54 percent overall. He had 19 assists to just 9 turnovers.
Jones had 22 points and 8 assists in his Summer League finale, Friday against the Los Angeles Lakers.
Jones averaged a team-high 17.4 points for Iowa State in the 2024-25 season.
