COMMUNITY JOURNALISM: Belle Plaine is district golf champion
The Belle Plaine boys' golf team won its district at Pleasant Valley Golf Course in Iowa City.

The team finished with 339 points, led by Logan Baburek (82, third place overall), Nick Bachelder (83, fourth), Caleb Parr (84), Ryan Zumbach (90), Austin Brown (90) and Blake St. John (94).
North Mahaska shot a 347 for second place.
