(AP) - The Indianapolis Colts have signed second-round pick Pat Angerer and seventh-round pick Ricardo Mathews.
First-round pick Jerry Hughes and third-rounder Kevin Thomas are the only two Colts' draft picks that remain unsigned. Thomas is expected to miss the entire season after tearing the ACL in his right knee during a rookie mini-camp following the draft.
Angerer, a linebacker from Iowa taken 63rd overall, reportedly signed a four-year deal worth $3.14 million with $1.35 million guaranteed.
Angerer's deal means team president Bill Polian can spend this weekend working exclusively on a deal with Hughes, the defensive end from TCU who was the 31st overall choice in April's draft.
