College GameDay and all its fanfare is headed to Indianapolis next Saturday for the Big Ten championship between No. 4 Iowa (12-0) and No. 5 Michigan State (11-1), a game many believe is a virtual play-in to the College Football Playoff.
The ESPN preview show makes its first stop at an Iowa game since Sept. 26, 2009, when the Hawkeyes, who went on to win 11 games that season, knocked off No. 4 Penn State 21-10 in State College, Pa. The Hawkeyes were previously 0-4 in GameDay-featured games.
It's the fourth time this season GameDay will appear at a Spartans game. MSU beat Oregon at home Sept. 12, then defeated Michigan and Ohio State on the road Oct. 17 and Nov. 21, respectively.
The show airs from 8-11 a.m. on ESPN.
The game itself kicks off at 7:17 p.m. on FOX.
