Dailey, a 6-foot-6 left-handed shooter, made the announcement on Twitter.

Originally, Dailey planned to play for Rutgers but decommitted in March after Coach Eddie Jordan was fired.
Dailey averaged 13.2 points a game for Beachwood (Ohio) High School, which finished 22-3 this year.
"The thing that impresses me the most about Maishe is his overall skillset," Iowa head coach Fran McCaffery said in a release. "He's a multiple position player who can drive, pass, shoot and handle the ball. He has tremendous athletic ability and can play above the rim. He can play an up-tempo game, but also has enough skill to play in the half-court.
"Maishe is a young man with impeccable character and we are thrilled to welcome him to the Hawkeye family."
Iowa has five incoming freshmen for its 2016-17 class. Along with Dailey, the Hawkeyes signed 6-1 guard Jordan Bohannon (25.8 points 5.3 rebounds), 6-8 forward Cordell Pemsl (21.3 points, 10.5 rebounds, 6-9 post Tyler Cook (12.2 points, 6.4 rebounds) and post Ryan Kriener 22.4 points, 11.8 rebounds). Bohannon (Linn-Mar), Pemsl (Dubuque Wahlert) and Kriener (Spirit Lake) are in-state recruits. Cook (St. Louis Chaminade) hails from Missouri.
Dailey, who was rated as a three-star recruit by Rivals, joins sophomore Ahmad Wagner as Ohioans on Iowa's roster. Wagner played in 32 games this year and averaged 2.6 points and 2.6 rebounds a game.
Dailey is Iowa's first Cleveland-area player on the roster since Aaron White, who grew up in Strongsville. White ranks second in school history with 1,859 points and third in rebounds (901).
Iowa now is at a full scholarship allotment despite freshmen Brandon Hutton and Andrew Fleming electing to transfer. Hutton, a 6-5 wing who red-shirted, will play next year at Indian Hills Community College in Ottumwa, Iowa. Fleming, who played in 11 games as a 6-5 shooting guard, transferred to Chattanooga.
Iowa finished 22-11 last year, 12-6 in Big Ten play. The Hawkeyes advanced to the NCAA tournament's second round.
