Class 4A and 3A girls state golf meet

The final round of the Class 3A and 4A state golf meets have been completed.
Cedar Rapids Xavier's Kimmy Askelson finished fourth in the 4A meet, carding rounds of 75-79-154.
Ames won the team race with 702, paced by medalist Katie Purcell. Waukee was second one shot back.
Western Dubuque's Ali Daly was fifth at 82-79-161, while the Bobcats were eighth at 390-365-745.
Madison Goodfellow of Iowa City West posted an 85-83-168 to finish in eighth place.
In Class 3A, Morgan McMillan had her best state showing, placing fifth with an 83-82-165.
Oelwein's Katie O'Loughlin made coach Howard Klatt's last state meet memorable, placing 6th with 85-82-167.
Charles City freshman Jessie Sindlinger was medalist with 80-77-157.
Clear Lake won the team title with 368-369-737, powered by Meg Monson, who was third at 83-80-163.
Grinnell finished runner-up with 365-377-742. WillIamsburg was eighth with 399-410-809.
