City High to conduct 'Hoops For Hope' Friday

Iowa City High Athletics Director Terry Coleman announced Wednesday his school's boys' basketball team will be sponsoring a "Hoops For Hope" cancer-awareness promotion Friday night when the Little Hawks host Dubuque Senior."Hoops For Hope" T-shirts will be available for purchase, as will homemade sweets and treat donations from area businesses.All proceeds will be donated to the Johnson County chapter of the American Cancer Society. The game tips off at about 7:30.
