WATERLOO — The Cedar Rapids RoughRiders clinched the Anderson Cup for most USHL regular-season standings points Friday night with a 3-2 win over Waterloo at Young Arena.
Combined with a Green Bay loss, C.R. owns the USHL points lead, 83 to 79, with one game to go (Saturday at Sioux City).
Tied 2-2, Ross Colton hit the game-winner — his 34th goal of the season, to tie the RoughRiders single-season record (Jacob Cepis) — in the third period.
