Cassill makes fourth Sprint Cup start

Cedar Rapids native Landon Cassill qualified for another NASCAR Sprint Cup Race, making the field for Sunday's Sunoco Red Cross Pennsylvania 500 at Pocono (pa.) Raceway.
Cassill qualified 35th in the 43-car field and finished 41st, completing 32 of the 200 laps. Greg Biffle took the checkered flag.
It was Cassill's fourth Sprint Cup race this season and his second with Phoenix Racing. He is expected to race with Phoenix Racing again Aug. 15 at the Sprint Cup's Carfax 400 at Michigan International Speedway in Brooklyn, Mich. Cassill made his Sprint Cup debut at that track June 13th, placing 38th for Phoenix Racing.
It was Cassill's third start in four weeks, racing twice for TRG Motorsports, competing with the team in the Brickyard 400 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway and the Lifelock.com 400 at Chicagoland Speedway.
Cassill, 21, a former Hawkeye Downs Speedway track champion and the 2008 NASCAR Nationwide Series Rookie of the Year, led a lap during the Brickyard 400.
