C.R. Jefferson’s Brian Webb among coaches picked for 2017 Shrine football game

CEDAR RAPIDS — Brian Webb of Cedar Rapids Jefferson is one of 12 coaches selected for the 45th Iowa Shrine All-Star Football Game, it has been announced.
Webb will be an assistant for the North squad, which will be led by Greg Thomas of Humboldt. Other assistants are Jason Ohrt of South Winneshiek, Travis Zajac of Dubuque Wahlert, Colby Yoder of Don Bosco and Jared DeVries of Clear Lake.
The South team will be led by head coach Paul Patterson of Norwalk. His assistants are Todd Bohlen of Belle Plaine, Dean Lansman of Greene County, Brad Zelenovich of Southeast Polk, Cody Hackett of West Marshall and Rich Kacmarynski of Pella Christian.
Coaches have selected 46 players apiece for the teams. They will be announced at a later date.
The Shrine game will be July 29 at the UNI-Dome in Cedar Falls.
