Burlington player back in pro ball after marriage scam

Burlington Bees outfielder Rene Oriental is 26 years old. He came into Saturday night's double-header with the Cedar Rapids Kernels with a .235 batting average, three home runs and 21 RBIs.
Those aren't prospect numbers. But Oriental is getting a chance to play professional baseball again, which is a story in itself.
He was caught in a marriage-for-pay scam in his native Dominican Republic in late 2006/early 2007.
