Boys track: Individuals to watch

 Individuals to watch in boys track and field this season, with last year's results at the state meet:

BEN AHLRICHS, sr., Monticello -- Class 2A champion in 800, 3,200 relay and medley relay, 3rd in 1,600 relay.

TRISTAN BEYER, sr., Cedar Rapids Prairie -- Class 4A runner-up in 400, 3rd in 1,600 relay.

QUINN CANNOY, jr., Marion -- Class 3A runner-up in shuttle hurdle relay, 6th in 110 hurdles.

FAMIEK COOK, sr., Cedar Rapids Kennedy -- Class 4A runner-up in 800 relay and shuttle hurdle relay, 3rd in long jump.

RYAN DORMAN, sr., Iowa City High -- Class 4A champion in 3,200 relay, 2nd in medley relay, 6th in 800.

JOSH EVANS, sr., Linn-Mar -- Class 4A champion in 3,200 and medley relay, 2nd in 1,600, 3rd in 800.

CONNOR HAM, jr., Solon -- Class 3A champion in 110 hurdles, 3rd in 400 relay, 6th in shuttle hurdle relay, 7th in 200.

DEREK JACOBUS, sr., Cedar Rapids Kennedy -- Class 4A long jump champion, 2nd in shuttle hurdle relay and 800 relay.

MICHAEL MELCHERT, sr., Monticello -- Class 2A champion in 1,600, 3,200 and medley relay, 3rd in 1,600 relay.

ROBBIE PETERS, sr., Mount Vernon -- Class 2A shot put runner-up, 4th in discus.

PERRION SCOTT, jr., Linn-Mar -- Class 4A champion in 800 relay, 2nd in 200, 3rd in 100 and 400 relay.

KEEGAN TRITLE, jr., Lisbon -- Class 1A shot put champion.
