Boys & Girls Clubs Fish-O-Rama set Aug. 4

The 10th Annual Fish-O-Rama, sponsored by Toyota Cedar Rapids, will take place Saturday, August 4 (7am-5pm) and Sunday, August 5 (7am-1pm) at Robbins Lake near Ellis Road in Cedar Rapids, with gates opening for registration at 6am both days. Admission is just $10 and allows you to fish for prizes both days or pay $25 and be eligible for bigger prizes such as a Toyota Tundra, an Aweld Fishing Boat package or jewelry from Seibke Hoyt. All registrants receive a t-shirt and are eligible to win a number of great prizes.

This event is an excellent opportunity for those wishing to get involved and volunteer in the community! The Boys & Girls Clubs are looking for 150 volunteers throughout the two-day event. Anyone interested in helping at this year's Fish-O-Rama is encouraged to contact Ainsley Hogan at ahogan@bgccr.org.

All proceeds from Fish-O-Rama enable the Boys and Girls Clubs to continue to serve the youth of the Cedar Rapids community.
