IOWA CITY REGINA 66, WEST LIBERTY 54 -- Drew Cook finished with a 29-point, 11-rebound double-double to lead Iowa City Regina past West Liberty, 66-54, at home last night.
Ethan Suchomel scored 10 points, while Phil Arendt had seven to go along with nine rebounds and five assists for the Regals (11-0, 9-0 River Valley).
Kyle Miller scored 25 points and Brett Becker had 14 for West Liberty (4-7, 3-7).
C.R. JEFFERSON 56, WATERLOO EAST 47 — Jacob Olson scored 22 points to lead the way for Jefferson in an MVC game at Waterloo last night.
Lucas Larson and Tyler Konigsmark added 14 points apiece for the J-Hawks (3-6, 1-5 MVC).
MARION 58, DYERSVILLE BECKMAN 51 — Daly Quinn scored a game-high 19 points to lead Marion to a Wamac Conference road victory. Quinn Cannoy added 12 and Jacob Mandershied 10 for the Indians. Josh Gehling led Beckman with 13 points while Ryan Olberding added 12.
C.R. PRAIRIE 55, CEDAR FALLS 51 — Michael Mims scored 22 points to lead three Cedar Rapids Prairie players in double figures as the Hawks posted a Mississippi Valley Conference road victory. Mitch Lorenz added 15 and JoJo Simpson 11 for the Hawks (3-7, 1-4 MVC).
DUBUQUE SENIOR 63, IOWA CITY HIGH 43 — Kyle Haber scored 15 points and pulled down eight rebounds to lead Dubuque Senior in a Mississippi Valley Conference game at Dubuque.
WATERLOO WEST 69, C.R. WASHINGTON 44 — Alex Landers led all players with 19 points to pace Waterloo West to a Mississippi Valley Conference win on the road. Lincoln Conrey added a 15-point, 11-rebound double-double and Dedric Campbell scored 14 points for the Wahawks (2-4, 1-2 MVC).
DUBUQUE WAHLERT 57, LINN-MAR 55 — Tyler Potts scored 17 points and Cordell Pemsl added 15 as Dubuque Wahlert held off Linn-Mar in Mississippi Valley Conference action. Jordan Bohannon scored a game-high 25 points to lead Linn-Mar.
PRINCE OF PEACE 57, CEDAR VALLEY CHRISTIAN 28 — Lucas Laufenberg led Prince of Peace with 13 points as the Irish defeated the Huskies in Springville.
GIRLS:
C.R. JEFFERSON 62, WATERLOO EAST 15 -- Amanda Ollinger led three Cedar Rapids Jefferson players in double figures with 15 points as the J-Hawks cruised to a Mississippi Valley Conference home victory last night over Waterloo East, 62-15.
Kennedy Dighton added 11 points and Avery Guy 10 for Jefferson (4-8), which led 42-7 at halftime.
Selena Collier led Waterloo East (0-10) with nine points.
DYERSVILLE BECKMAN 45, MARION 41 — Sisters Blair and Brooke Klostermann combined to score 41 of Dyersville Beckman's 45 points in a Wamac match-up at Marion. Blair led all scorers with 25 points, while Brooke added 16 for Beckman (5-6, 4-5 Wamac).
C.R. WASHINGTON 81, WATERLOO WEST 68 — Dani Franklin scored a team-high 25 points and added six steals to lead C.R. Washington on the road at Waterloo.
Aleena Hobbs had 18 points and grabbed nine rebounds for the Warriors (8-3, 6-1 MVC).
I.C. WEST 52, DUBUQUE HEMPSTEAD 34 — Mikaela Morgan led all scorers with 15 points as Iowa City West won in Dubuque. Jessie Harder added 12 points.
CEDAR FALLS 49, C.R. PRAIRIE 40 — Emma Gerdes and Madison Wood scored 12 points each as Cedar Falls picked up a Mississippi Valley Conference road victory.
Cyerra Hutchins scored 12 points and Madison Dellamuth added 10 to lead Prairie (6-5).
I.C. HIGH 63, DUBUQUE SENIOR 30 — Kiera Washpun led all scorers with 17 points as Iowa City High beat the Rams at home. Courtney Joens added 16 points and Haley Lorenzen finished the night with 12 points to pace the Little Hawks.
IOWA CITY REGINA 67, WEST LIBERTY 20 — Jenna Lehman scored 18 points, grabbed 10 rebounds and had nine steals to fall just short of a triple-double for Class 2A third-ranked Iowa City Regina in a River valley game at Iowa City.
PRINCE OF PEACE 58, CEDAR VALLEY CHRISTIAN 40 — Andrea Aqualani was the Irish's leading scorer with 21 points as Prince of Peace beat the Huskies in Springville. Shelby Hembera led all scorers with 36 points for CVC.
