JEFFERSON 80, IOWA CITY HIGH 50 -- Jacob Olson's 30 points and five assists fueled Cedar Rapids Jefferson to an 80-50 Mississippi Valley Conference boys' basketball win over Iowa City High last night in the J-Hawks' gym.Tyler Konigsmark added 24 points and led the J-Hawks (4-10, 2-8) with six rebounds. City High (6-8, 4-6 MVC) was led by Logan Lafauce with 15 points and three assists
C.R. XAVIER 65, CEDAR FALLS 38 — Matt Nelson scored a game-high 14 points and pulled down nine rebounds to lead Xavier to an MVC victory at home.Frank Hill added 12 points for the Saints (9-6, 5-5 MVC), who led 25-6 at halftime.Durrell Jackson paced Cedar Falls (6-9, 4-7 MVC) with eight points.
IOWA CITY WEST 87, C.R. PRAIRIE 40 —Wyatt Lohaus scored 16 points and recorded seven assists en route to a Trojans (13-2, 9-1) win at home. David Dileo scored 13 points while Nick Gallagher and Chike Ukah finished the night with 10 points each for West.Michael Mims led the Hawks (4-11, 2-8) with 14 points.
MIDLAND 77, CEDAR VALLEY CHRISTIAN 41 — The Eagles used 15 3-point baskets and a 24-12 turnover edge to move past the Huskies at Wyoming.Mike Scroggs scored 16 points for Cedar Valley. Connor Harms led Midland with 17 points.

JEFFERSON 41 -- Iowa City High remained unbeaten last night, dropping Cedar Rapids Jefferson, 72-41, behind Haley Lorenzen's 30 points, 11 rebounds and six blocks in a Mississippi Valley Conference girls' basketball game.Courtney Joens and Kiera Washpun added 17 and 12 points, respectively, for City High (18-0, 10-0).Kennedy Dighton paced the J-Hawks (7-10, 5-6 MVC) with 14 points and Amanda Ollinger chipped in with 10 points and nine rebounds.
