BOYS:
Drew Cook led all scorers with 27 points and added six rebounds for Iowa City Regina, which beat Wilton, 66-57, at home.
Nick Phillips came off the bench and chipped in 12 points and grabbed six boards to move Regina to 6-0 overall and 5-0 in the south division of the River Valley Conference. Tyler Hetzler led Wilton with 25 points.
LINN-MAR 74, WATERLOO EAST 64 — Jordan Bohannon scored 27 points and grabbed six rebounds, and Nick Uhlir scored 13 points to lead Linn-Mar to the victory at Waterloo. Lane Halupnik added 12 points and Jordan Brandt chipped in 10 points for the Lions.
I.C. WEST 67, DUBUQUE HEMPSTEAD 50 — The Trojans won their 59th consecutive game as Wyatt Lohaus led all scorers with 21 points, including three 3-pointers. David Dileo also ended the night in double-figures with 12 points.Martell Wilsonwas Hempstead's leading scorer with 13 points.
LISBON 74, CEDAR VALLEY CHRISTIAN 20 — Ryan Light scored a game-high 23 points to lead Lisbon in a non-conference game at home.Brock Givens had 12 points, Tyler Svatosch added 11 and Nate Heims pulled down seven rebounds for the Lions (5-3). Mike Scroggs led the Cedar Valley Christian (0-8) offense with six points.
GIRLS:
Linn-Mar raced to a 46-13 half-time lead last night en route to their 67-17 win over Waterloo East at home. Kristie Sommer scored 21 points and grabbed six rebounds for Linn-Mar.
Taylor Robertson added 12 points with four 3-pointers and Claire Larson chipped in 10 points for the Lions. Maykayla Marquand scored seven points to lead Waterloo East.
I.C. REGINA 73, WILTON 38 — Katie Wick led all scorers with 16 points and was one of four in double figures for Regina in a 73-38 win at home. Nikki Becker tallied 15 points while Jenna Lehman finished with 14 points and Hannah Stein had 11 points on the night.Grace Austin led Wilton with 13 points.
LISBON 68, CEDAR VALLEY CHRISTIAN 30 — Danielle Heiken scored 19 points while leading four players in double-figure scoring as Lisbon won at home. Cassidy Moore added 12 points and made one 3-pointer. Cassie Smith and Cassie Norton each chipped in with 10 points for the Lions. Shelby Hembera scored 28 points to lead alll scorers and grabbed 11 rebounds for Cedar Valley Christian.
