Ballard's Greenfield commits to Stanford

Ballard guard Taylor Greenfield, the No. 31 prospect in the 2011 class, told ESPN's HoopGurlz.com that she has given a verbal commitment to play at Stanford.Greenfield picked Stanford over Iowa State and Texas.The 6-foot-2 Greenfield averaged 19.4 points, 6.7 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game as Ballard reached the Class 3A semifinals last season. The Bombers were 2009 state champions and will be the 3A favorite next winter.Stanford was the national runner-up last season, knocking out Iowa in the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
