Updates as they happened from Iowa's overtime win over Florida State at Carver-Hawkeye Arena on Wednesday.
Final - Iowa 78, Florida State 75
It was ugly, but a win nonetheless.
Iowa shot 23.8 percent from deep, but Peter Jok stepped up again when the Hawkeyes needed him most. Jok finished with a game-high 24 points and hit three 3-pointers, none bigger than his last with 26 seconds to play in OT to give Iowa a 74-72 lead.
Xavier Rathan-Mayes drove, slipped and drew a questionable foul on Mike Gesell, hitting 1-of-2 free throws to give FSU the lead before Jok's trey.
Rathan-Mayes had 15 points and nailed a deep three to cut the lead to 76-75 with three seconds to go. Jarrod Uthoff then hit two free throws and Rathan-Mayes air-balled a prayer at the buzzer.
Iowa shot 42.2 percent for the game and gave up 19 offensive rebounds, but the Seminoles shot at a 38.7 percent clip and, like the Hawkeyes, struggled from deep, hitting 5-of-22.
Malik Beasley had 20 points to lead FSU.
Jarrod Uthoff (15), Adam Woodbury (11), Mike Gesell (10) and Anthony Clemmons (10) joined Jok in double figures for the Hawkeyes.
The win clinched the Big Ten-ACC Challenge for the Big Ten, 8-6.
0:55 OT - Iowa 71, Florida State 71
Adam Woodbury and-one put the Hawkeyes up two, but yet another Seminoles offensive rebound (19 now) via a Boris Bojanovsky tip ties it with under a minute to play.
End of Regulation - Iowa 63, Florida State 63
Overtime awaits.
Another Florida State offensive rebound, their 15th of the night, gives the Seminoles a chance to tie the game.
Montay Brandon, 6-for-12 from the line coming into the night, hits a pair to force an extra period.
Mike Gesell hit the bottom side of the backboard with 2.3 seconds to go, then a half-court heave from FSU's Devon Booker hit the back of the rim.
The teams have combined to miss 23 of their last 26 shots, so five more minutes of basketball isn't exactly a welcome sign for a game that tipped at 8:20 p.m.
3:31 2nd - Iowa 60, Florida State 58
As mentioned in the previous update, it's been a cold night for both teams. Peter Jok provides some rare warmth with a three to put the Hawkeyes back in front with 5:40 left.
Iowa has missed 10 of its last 12 shots while FSU has misfired on seven straight.
Not exactly lighting it up.
By the way, Notre Dame and Duke are leading Indiana and Illinois, respectively, by double digits. The Big Ten leads the challenge 7-4, so all the pressure is on Iowa to avoid a tie.

7:14 2nd - Florida State 55, Iowa 54
Florida State has really struggled from deep in this game, but back-to-back threes by Malik Beasley put the Seminoles back in front, 53-52, inside of 10 minutes to play.
FSU was 2-for-16 prior from 3-point range prior to that spurt. Beasley now leads all scorers with 14 points.
Iowa, by the way, is just 3-for-15 from beyond the arc.
14:41 2nd - Iowa 44, Florida State 41
Back and forth we go. Five lead changes to begin the second half, the last a Jarrod Uthoff bucket to put Iowa up one.
The Hawkeyes' leading scorer is doing it on both ends, blocking a shot and getting a runout dunk prior to the first media timeout of the half. After a slow start, he's up to nine points on 4-of-9 shooting, four rebounds, three blocks and two assists.
Peter Jok began the half with a steal and dish to Anthony Clemmons, and has a game-high 13 points.
Half - Florida State 32, Iowa 31
This is a game of runs all of a sudden. A 9-0 FSU streak allowed it to reclaim the lead at 30-25 before a Mike Gesell three stopped the run.
The Seminoles have 26 points in the paint. Their first made jumper came on a Devon Bookert three with 1:23 to go.
The Hawkeyes are shooting 44.4 percent to FSU's 35.9, but gave up 10 offensive rebounds in the first 20 minutes.
Peter Jok leads all scorers with 11 points, including his first three with 41 seconds to go that cut the lead to one.
Freshman Dwayne Bacon leads FSU with nine points, though he's needed 11 shots to reach that total.
4:48 1st - Iowa 25, Florida State 21
Iowa on an 11-0 run for its first lead. Uthoff hit a three for his first points during that sequence, then assisted Woodbury for the lead.
Two FSU timeouts during this run. The Seminoles have missed 14 of their last 16 shots.
Woody running the break!
6:43 1st - Florida State 21, Iowa 16
Iowa hanging around and, really, when your leading scorer (Jarrod Uthoff) doesn't have a point, being down only a couple possessions in the second part of the first half isn't terrible.
Neither team has made a 3-pointer (0-for-11 combined), but the Seminoles have nine offensive rebounds and have a 20-6 advantage in points in the paint.
Iowa has turned it over six times, and though FSU has only turned that into four points, this sequence was particularly ugly for Iowa:
11:27 1st - Florida State 17, Iowa 8
Florida State's speed and athleticism on display as Seminole guards get in the lane in transition and find open cutters.
This and-one from talented freshman Dwayne Bacon shows just how tough it is to guard this team.
FSU has 17 points total and 16 in the paint. That's suboptimal if you're wearing black and gold. December 3, 2015

On the other end, the Hawkeyes are having trouble getting anything going, shooting 4-for-11 including 0-for-4 from beyond the arc.
15:58 1st - Florida State 8, Iowa 2
Not an ideal start for the Hawkeyes. FSU gets four offensive rebounds in the first four minutes and jumps out to an 8-2 lead.
Iowa missed its three field goal attempts, scoring only on Adam Woodbury's two free throws.
