The Anamosa Blue Raiders won the Cowbell for the first time in three years — and only just the third time over the past decade — topping Monticello 26-13.
Anamosa (5-1, 4-0) led 13-0 at half, and Daniel Husmann scored on an 80-yard TD run on the first offensive play of the third quarter.
Monticello (2-4, 1-2) then fumbled the ensuing kickoff, and the Raiders recovered. Husmann then scored on a 13-yard run.
Husmann finished with 140 yards on 14 carries. Trevor Wehling had 140 yards on 14 carries, and two touchdowns for the Blue Raiders, who clinched a playoff spot for the first time since 2004.
Jarrett Easton had two catches for 36 yards and one TD for the Panthers.

West Delaware 20, Charles City 14 — The Hawks built up a 20-6 halftime lead and held on to win Friday at Chalres City.
Bennett Cole, who led the team with 13 tackles, had an interception in the final minute to seal the win for No. 3 (3A) West Delaware (6-0, 4-0).
Brent Lammers had a TD run and a TD passes to Dallyn Butz and Austin Bishop in the first half.
Levi Blaine had a 32-yard TD run and Bryce Foxen a 10-yard TD run for Charles City (4-2, 2-1).
Cory Rousell had 22 carries for 114 yards for West Delaware.

West Branch 53, Durant 13 — Luke Lenoch scored on a school-record 94-yard touchdown run in the third quarter and No. 4 (1A) West Branch rolled Friday in Durant.
The old record was held by Cole Kelly, who had a 93-yard TD run in 2009.
Matt Shawver also had a school record with 148 yards receiving, beating Rilen Carew's mark of 140 yards.
Lucas Lamont threw for over 250 yards and three touchdown for the Bears (6-0, 3-0). Durant fell to (2-4, 1-3)

Solon 54, DeWitt Central 14 — Kevin Miller topped his brother Mike as the sixth-ranked (3A) Spartans improved to 5-1 (2-1) in DeWitt.
Brandon Kramer ran for four touchdowns. Brandon Childs added two rushing touchdowns along with a 53-yard touchdown pass to Bo Black.
DeWitt Central fell to 3-3 (1-3).
Lone Tree 34, Waco 18 — Jared Hudson rushed for 161 yards and three touchdowns as the Lions (4-2, 3-1) won in Wayland. Nick Viner ran for 67 yards and a score and Greg Feldman had 77 rushing yards and a touchdown.
Tucker Janecek led the Warriors (1-5, 1-3) with 170 yards rushing and two touchdowns while Bryce Achen had a rushing touchdown as well.
ALBURNETT 37, WAPELLO 0 — Connor Shulista ran for a pair of touchdowns and totaled 85 yards on 14 carries for the Pirates (3-3, 2-2). Dillon Caves connected on 10 of 14 passes for two scores and Bryce Paul gathered in two TD catches and ran for another in the Class 1A District 5 win for Alburnett. Wapello fell to 1-5, 0-3.
LISBON 45, STARMONT 18 — Jack Butteris led the way with 19 carries for 251 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Lions (3-3, 3-1) at Starmont. Jake Butler ran for 186 yards on 28 carries and had two touchdowns. Starmont fell to 2-4, 2-2.
Springville 48, Central City 20 — The Orioles were led by Tyler McDowell, who had 324 yards on 35 carries and scored five touchdowns for Springville (2-4, 1-3). Trevor Hulett had two interceptions on defense, and Ryan Menster and Greg Pauly each caught a touchdown.
Central City fell to 1-5, 1-3.
Elkader Central 64, Turkey Valley 34 — No. 7 Elkader Central (6-0, 4-0) won a battle of unbeaten teams, topping No. 9 Turkey Valley (5-1, 3-1).
Nathan Fitzgerald had 36 carries for 357 yards and scored six touchdowns to lead Elkader Central.
Don Bosco 48, HLV 30 — No. 2 Don Bosco (6-0, 4-0) won a battle of a Top 5, unbeaten teams, beating No. 4 HLV (5-1, 3-1).
Maquoketa 10, Marion 6 — Maquoketa got its first win, taking down Marion at home.
