Clayton Ridge 28, North Linn 6 - Jordan Davis had 121 yards rushing and two touchdowns last night as Clayton Ridge notched its eighth prep football win of the season, beating North Linn in a Class 1A District 4 finale, 28-6, in Guttenberg.It would have been the eighth straight shutout for host Clayton Ridge (8-1, 7-0), but the Lynx defense recovered a fumble and returned it to the end zone.
WAPSIE VALLEY 47, VALLEY COMMUNITY 0 - Mike Rathe rushed for 128 yards and two scores and Connor O'Brien added 133 rushing yards and an 83-yard touchdown to lead Wapsie Valley (8-1) to a win in their home finale.
EAST BUCHANAN 21, POSTVILLE 6 - Jordan Gerbracht had 161 yards and one touchdown while Taylor Connolly had 87 yards and two touchdowns for host East Buchanan (6-3, 5-2 A-4).
NORTH TAMA 7, NORTH MAHASKA 0 - Dylan Youel scored the only touchdown of the game on a 3-yard run up the middle for host North Tama (9-0, 6-0 A-6).
BGM 44, GMG 6 - Mike Long rushed for 275 yards and three touchdowns to lead the host Bears (8-1, 5-1 A-6).
HLV 33, NEW LONDON 0 - Jordan Smith had 80 yards receiving and a touchdown and 73 yards rushing and a touchdown while Brandon Leonard had 187 yards rushing and two touchdowns for visiting HLV (5-4, 3-3 A-6).
WEST BRANCH 61, VAN BUREN 0 - Cole Kelly had touchdown runs on each of his four carries, totaling 137 yards. He also had a 55-yard punt return for a touchdown as West Branch (9-0) shut out Van Buren at home.
BELLE PLAINE 55, EDDYSVILLE-BLAKESBURG 36 - Seivon Steward rushed for 209 yards and four touchdowns and Brian Crow added 183 yards and two scores to lead the Plainsmen (7-2, 5-2 1A-5).
DYERSVILLE BECKMAN 34, MFL MARMAC 3 - Craig Kerper returned an interception 70 yards for a touchdown for host Dyersville Beckman (4-5, 4-3 2A-4).
ELKADER CENTRAL 42, LISBON 15 - Zach Tade rushed for 280 yards and accounted for five touchdowns (4 rushing, 1 receiving) to lead the Warriors (8-1, 6-1 A-4).
NEW HAMPTON 27, OELWEIN 0 - Alec Lang rushed for 204 yards and three scores (12, 15, 2) to lead the Chickasaws, now 7-2, 7-0 in Class 3A, District 3. The Huskies are 5-4, 5-2 in 3A-3.
CENTRAL CITY 60, SPRINGVILLE 14 - Matt Clary had 79 yards rushing and 59 yards receiving and four receiving touchdowns while Dustin Kersher had 84 yards rushing and two touchdowns for Central City (4-5). Jake Hulett passed for 193 yards and two touchdowns and Jordan Scriber had 94 yards receiving and a touchdown for Springville (3-6, 2-5 8-Man-4).
SOLON 70, WEST LIBERTY 6 - James Morris and Andy Ashton led the Spartans with two touchdowns each. Marshall Koehn was perfect in all extra point attempts for top-ranked Solon (9-0). Jeremy Drayfahl scored the only touchdown for West Liberty with an 80-yard touchdown.
WASHINGTON (IOWA) 28, FORT MADISON 13 - Jordan Vittoe had a pair of 1-yard rushing touchdowns, while Jake Redlinger added a 6-yard touchdown run and 10-yard touchdown pass to Landon Coker for Washington (7-2).
SIGOURNEY-KEOTA 41, DAVIS COUNTY 12 - Drew Utterbach had 138 yards rushing while Dyllon Horning had 130 yards rushing and two touchdowns and Nick Olson had 30 yards rushing and one touchdown for host Sigouney-Keota (5-4, 4-3 2A-6).
