Here is an excerpt from Day 2 of his trip:
“Welcome to Green Bay!” That's a response that I received a lot of during my Green Bay experience.
Of course, I wouldn't have heard it unless I had mentioned that it was my first real visit. But make no mistake about it; the people of Green Bay seem very proud of where they are from and more than willing to help, if asked.

My morning started with me telling the alarm clock to shut up. My bed at the Clarion Hotel was quite comfortable. It didn't take me too much coaxing from the snooze bar to get me up, though. I was anxious to get my Green Bay experience started.
I looked out my window to see cloudy skies and light rain, exactly what it was doing the night before. I knew that it was going to change, however, since the weather forecast for Monday called for clearing skies and temps into the upper 60s. It wasn't long before I was ready to go.
I had a route decision to make. One was to head down to Lambeau Field and the other to the Bay Beach area. Hopefully, all of my Packer friends will not hate me when hearing that I chose the bay. No worries, I stopped on my way out of town.
The Clarion is located in a perfect spot for my run. It's right on the Fox River and a nice trail was literally right outside the door. And as I began, I felt some soreness from my trail run the day before. It didn't take long for my stride to get to glide. ...
