All-Mississippi Valley Conference boys’ basketball teams released

Jordan Bohannon of Linn-Mar, Jared Printy of Cedar Rapids Washington, David DiLeo of Iowa City West and Adam McDermott of Cedar Rapids Xavier were unanimous picks for the All-Mississippi Valley Conference boys' basketball team, released Wednesday.

Bohannon and DiLeo were part of the first team in the Valley Division. Other first teamers were Brendon Manning of Cedar Rapids Kennedy, Connor McCaffery of West, Luke McDonnell of Dubuque Senior, Keeon Johnson of Cedar Falls and Cordell Pemsl of Dubuque Wahlert.

McDonnell, a University of Northern Iowa signee, was named division Most Valuable Player. Steve Bergman of West is Coacn of the Year.

In the Mississippi Division, the MVP is Robert Duax of Dubuque Hempstead. Curt Duetsch of Hempstead is Coach of the Year.

Other first-team selections with Duax, Printy and McDermott are Calvin Winker of Xavier, Nate Wieland of Iowa City High, Avery Butler of Hempstead and Lincoln Conrey of Waterloo West.
