The first installment of The Predicament's individual and state tournament team rankings were released Monday.Defending Class 1A champion Alburnett is ranked first in 1A with seven ranked wrestlers. Maquoketa Valley is 10th in 1A. Four Pirates are ranked in the top two of their respective weights.
The Predicament's Class 1A rankings
In Class 3A, Linn-Mar and Cedar Rapids Prairie are fourth and fifth, respectively. The Lions have two wrestlers ranked No. 1 in Alijah Jeffery (120) and Ross Lembeck (152). Iowa City West is eighth. Bettendorf is first in 3A.
West Delaware, which won the 2A traditional team title is fifth. Solon is ninth and Independence is 10th. Mediapolis is ranked first in 2A.
