Actress Teri Hatcher to play in Iowa golf tournament
"Desperate Housewives" star Teri Hatcher is heading to Iowa in June.
Hatcher is to play golf in the Pro-Am at The Principal Charity Classic in Des Moines on June 2. Tournament director Jamie Alt says the Golden Globe-winning actress has a passion for golf and charitable giving. Alt says that makes her a perfect fit for the golf tournament.
The 45-year-old Hatcher is the mother of a 12-year-old daughter. She also wrote the 2006 book "Burnt Toast: And Other Philosophies of Life."
