NOTES:
- Solon is the defending 2A state champion. It's the third state tournament appearance in a row for the Spartans and their fifth overall.
- One of Solon's two losses this season was to Mid-Prairie, 55-52, on Dec. 22 at Solon. The Golden Hawks' victory ended a 33-game overall win streak for Solon.
- Mid-Prairie's leading scorer is Tanner Miller, who has committed to play football next year for the Iowa Hawkeyes.
- This is the first state tournament appearance for Turkey Valley. The Trojans finished second to Sumner-Fredericksburg in the Upper Iowa Conference but have won 10 of their last 11 games, including a 48-46 substate final victory over Dyersville Beckman.
Solon Coach Brad Randall talks to his team during a district game against Iowa City Regina last month.
