FORT DODGE -- There's an all-female umpiring crew working the 1 p.m. Class 1A quarterfinal at the state softball tournament, a first in Iowa.Julie Foglesong from Boone is behind the plate, Cathy Creighton of Urbandale is working first base and Deb Richarz of LeMars is at third.Richarz is working her 14th state tournament, Creighton her third, Foglesong her first.
