39 Hawkeyes on NFL rosters

IOWA CITY - Thirty-nine former Iowa football players are listed on NFL rosters as teams transition into offseason team workouts this week.

Atlanta boasts the most former Hawkeyes with four, while New England, Baltimore, Houston, Dallas and Green Bay each have three.

Six former Iowa tight ends have signed with NFL clubs. They include Ray Hamilton - who inked a free-agent contract with Dallas last week - and veterans Scott Chandler (New England), Allen Reisner (Baltimore), C.J. Fiedorowicz (Houston), Tony Moeaki (Atlanta) and Brandon Myers (Tampa Bay).

Undrafted free agent wide receiver Kevonte Martin-Manley tried out for the Cleveland Browns over the weekend but was not signed. Two former Hawkeyes who finished their careers at other schools - tight end A.J. Derby (Arkansas) and running back Brandon Wegher (Carolina) - are with New England and Carolina, respectively.
