2010 Male AOY finalist: Max Martino

High school highlights: A versatile three-sport athlete. Martino was a two-year starter at four different positions in football (receiver, quarterback, running back and safety) and earned second-team all-state honors. A two-year starter in basketball and the Cougars' defensive player of the year two straight seasons. Won a Drake Relays title in the shuttle hurdle relay and a state-record holder in that event. Played baseball for two years.
Future plans: Will play basketball at the University of Northern Iowa.
