Center Point-Urbana, Dyersville Beckman lead all-Wamac girls’ soccer honorees

The Center Point-Urbana girls' soccer team placed four players on the first team of the Wamac all-conference list. Coe signee Raegan Dufoe, Drake women's basketball signee Allie Wooldridge (team-high 17 goals), sophomore Arianna Katcher (13 goals, team-high nine assists) and junior defender Alexa Coller will help Class 1A No, 6 Center Point-Urbana (14-4) host Grundy Center/Gladbrook-Reinbeck in a regional semifinal Friday at 5.
CPU Co-Coaches Todd Mitchell and Richard Plante were named Coach of the Year in the West Division.
Dyersville Beckman also placed four players on the first team all-Wamac list. Senior midfielder McKenzie Arens (seven goals, seven assists), senior defender Lauren Shaull, junior midfielder Sydney Arens (nine goals, nine assists) and sophomore forward Ashley Engleken (team-high 22 goals) will help Class 1A No. 14 Dyersville Beckman (12-4) host Dubuque Wahlert in a regional semifinal Friday at 6.
Beckman Coach Craig Keegan was named Coach of the Year in the East Division.
