Cedar Rapids Washington’s Andrew Hammer repeats as MVC boys’ soccer athlete of year
Cedar Rapids Washington senior defender Andrew Hammer — a first team all-state selection in 2017 — was named Mississippi Valley Conference Athlete of the Year in the Valley Division for the second year in a row. Iowa City West junior Gada Ambo was named MVC Athlete of the Year in the Mississippi Division.
