Women’s Track and Field Team earn USTFCCCA academic team award
Cornell College's women's track and field team has been recognized as a 2011 NCAA Division III Track and Field All-Academic Team by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.
This is the third consecutive season head coach Lonnie Speidel's women's squad has been honored academically by the USTFCCCA.
A total of 111 Division III institutions earned the distinction as a result of a cumulative grade point average of 3.1 or better.
Cornell compiled a 3.26 team GPA during the 2010-11 academic year. The Rams were among six teams honored from the Iowa Conference.
