[Volleyball] Kohawks run streak to seven; defeat rival Cornell; take 3-1 lead in Bremner Cup

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - With the match in a fifth set and tied at 14, senior Rachel Schaefer (Waterloo, Iowa/Columbus) stepped up to the service line for Coe. From there, she smashed home an ace at the feet of a Cornell defender to give the Kohawks a 15-14 lead. The very next point, sophomore Brianna Smith (Johnston, Iowa/Urbandale) sealed the deal for Coe, slamming down her 18th, and final, kill of the night to give the Kohawks a 16-14 victory in the set, and a 3-2 win against their rival.
