UNI loses again, playoff chance takes another hit

Austin Johnson kicked a 24-yard field goal with 59 seconds to play and Southern Illinois rallied to beat Northern Iowa in Carbondale, Ill.
The Salukis (4-3, 3-1 MVFC) trailed 21-6 in the second quarter when Kenn Boatright blocked a UNI punt and recovered it in the end zone for a touchdown. The Panthers (1-5, 0-3) were driving for a touchdown late in the half when SIU's Bryan Presume picked up a fumbled ball at the goal line and ran 100 yards for a touchdown. A 2-point conversion tied it at 21.
David Johnson ran for 118 yards and two touchdowns for the Panthers.
WARTBURG 24, LUTHER 10
Brandon Domeyer ran 5 yards for a touchdown in the fourth quarter, breaking a 10-10 tie, and Logan Schrader added a 34-yard TD run as Wartburg won at Walston-Hoover Stadium in Waverly.
Luther (0-6, 0-3 IIAC) jumped out to a 10-0 lead in the first quarter on Seth Streeter's 22-yard field goal and Kody Moore's 68-yard touchdown pass to Adam Bohr. But the lead didn't hold up as the Knights (4-2, 2-1) came back.
Dan Ridenour gained 100 yards on 23 carries for Wartburg.
AUGUSTANA 66, UPPER IOWA 20 - Augustana scored the first 49 points of the game and coasted to victory in Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference South Division action in Fayette.
Augustana improves to 3-4, 1-2 in the South Division. The Vikings finished with a season-high 650 yards of total offense.
Upper Iowa is 2-5, 0-3 in NSIC South.
