Senior Roli Teko-Folly's fourth-place finish in the high jump led all Cornell entrants on a chilly and windy weekend at the Jim Duncan Invitational Friday and Saturday at Drake Stadium.
Teko-Folly cleared a 2011 outdoor-best 6 feet, 4 inches in the 14-man high jump field. He recorded the third-best height, although slipped to fourth based on a tiebreaker.
Junior Matt McGowan led off the men's 4x400 relay, which placed seventh with a season-best mark of 3 minutes, 26.10 seconds. The quartet included Reed Skoog, Scott Riedel and anchor Andrew Harter.
McGowan also posted the team's top 400 time of the season, running 52.01 for 16th. Adam Rooyakkers took 13th in the 800 in 1:58.73. Marshall Kraker was ninth in the javelin (145-10).
The Cornell women were led by junior Christal Harris, who scored a pair of top-10 finishes. She landed her best season mark in the triple jump, covering 33-11.50 for seventh. Harris finished 10th in the long jump (15-4).
Michelle Hannemann came in 11th in the pole vault (8-00.50). Raquel Ristau was 13th in the shot put (37-03.25).
The Rams return to the track Saturday to compete in the Dick Young Classic in Grinnell.
